- Position Title: Category Coordinator
Department: Category Management Employment Type: Full-time Pay: CA$40,000 per year Location: Sungiven Foods Head Office 5589 Byrne Rd, Burnaby, BC V5J 3J1
The Category Coordinator will report to the Head of Category Management and is responsible for achieving sales and profit objectives for a specific merchandise category or categories. Thisresponsibility includes the development and successful implementation of buying strategies, merchandise programs and marketing plans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interaction (via phone, e-mail, in-person or others) with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and collect all information in order to process purchase agreements and contracts
- Forecast and maintain inventory levels, and analyze retail prices for the merchandise
- Implement buying strategies, merchandise programs and marketing plans
- Analysis of retail prices in coordination with the team and Operation Team, as well as the implementation and continuous monitoring of the grocery landscape

- New Item Listing
- Data Entry
- Warehouse receiving and picking
- Storage and logistic reporting
- Other routine reporting
- Other duty required by supervisor
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong researching skills
- High School Diploma
- Moderate in Microsoft Office
- Quick Learner
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure work environment while effectively managing competing and changing priorities
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to speak conversational Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred
- Can legally work in Canada
