Atlas Stone Products ltd. is looking to hire a full-time machine operator. We are looking for an individual with the right attitude who is willing and open to learning new things. Experience is an asset but is not necessary, Atlas will provide the necessary training.

-Starting wage: $22 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Assist in saw setup and cycle changes

• Ensure the correct material is loaded and programmed

• Efficiently operate the stone fabrication machine in order to attain the required precision cuts for each job

• Safe operation of mechanical lifters (ie. overhead cranes) where required

• Track and update job status in scheduling systems

• Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with operating manuals and procedures, and maintain your assigned work area in a high state of cleanliness/readiness

• Verify quantities, products, and condition of all materials received

• Place all products received in appropriate locations

• Process appropriate paperwork regarding all materials

• Polish, cut and fabricate stone

• Assist in various areas of a production facility as needed

• Other duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Proficiency in material modification, material layout, and all technical expertise

• Professional demeanor and appearance

• Must Possess a valid driver’s license
