有的家庭医生诊所，不仅很难约，连前台工作人员态度也极端恶劣。请看报道：

Patient Threatened and Scared in Family Doctor Clinic

--- A patient in Burnaby was threatened and scared by staff in J-Von Medical Center in Burnaby last week simply because he questioned about the facility there and canceled the examination. Here is the story by Mr. Chen:

          I had an appointment with Dr. Herman Lee in this medical center for a driver safety exam on Sept. 25, 2016.I showed up in time and paid $180 as required. After payment, I followed one of the front desk staffs for weight and height measurement. When came to vision test, the lady was not sure of the distance as there is no clear mark on the floor so she asked the other one at the front desk for assistance. That Mandarin speaking woman came up, poked her right foot on the floor and ORDER me to stand at a spot LOUDLY AND IMPATIENTLY!  I said it seems a bit too far compared to other clinic, but she shouted at me: “This is the line by law!”, but actually there is no line there. I was surprised by her manner and I wanted to cancel the exam. At this point she became angry:"I'll refund you, I refund you!" So I said:" Please mind your manner Ms, it's horrible!” And I expressed my preference to have cash back as they can’t refund to my debit card. Then she became mad and said:"you'll never be allowed to step into this clinic again!"  I tried to tell her to mind her manner but she threatened me:" I'll call the police!” I told her I'm not a new immigrant, since many Chinese new immigrants feared being denied access of medical service as few family practitioners take in new patients. That’s why she is so unscrupulous!

I was so shocked by this woman. I am wondering:

1. Do patients have the right to have questions?

2. Do patients have the right to have different opinions with regard to their medical issues?"

3. Do patients deserve respect and care?

4. Do patients deserve rude and/or rough service and being pointed in the face by staff's finger for more than 10 times?!   --- She kept using her finger all the time!!!

It's totally unacceptable in Canada! I've been in BC for more than 10 years and never have problems with any doctors. I've been staying with my family doctor for about ten years without any conflicts. It’s extremely ridiculous how such thing could happen in a professional physician's clinic! She's completely not competent for this industry nor qualified for a job in a medical clinic, as she has no sense of care for patients!

I'm requesting an investigation on this matter and a formal apology from your clinic or this woman herself!  The evidence could be obtained from the surveillance camera.
