I like your question but not the rest

As a Chinese (from Beijing), I have lived outside China for many years.  I think I can understand your frustration even anger and to certain extent I would agree with you. But this does not justify your calling Chinese person/s "Chinaman".  This is not only totally unacceptable but reveals an urgent need for you to be further educated.  As you mentioned above, you are a Chinese from Hong Kong.  You should know calling a Chinese person "Chinaman" is equivalent to call an African American "Negro", which is, in proper English, bloody rude.  Hong Kong used to be ruled by British for over a centry.  You should have heard the then rulers calling native Hong Kong people "Chinaman".

Please don't do this any more.  Doing so makes yourself look totally out dated, not adiquately educated and a complete idoit.

By the way, for business purposes, I have been to Hong Kong multiple times, believe me, I was not that much impressed.  And don't blame the Mainland Chinese for this.  Even the airport staff are much less impressive as I expected.

Having said above I still wish to thank you for your honest posting.  So all those who can read, reflect and improve.  One day, the reputation may change but I am afraid either you, or me could see it.
