2 different Sales Representative roles (local International/ Building Meat)

1) Express Employment Professionals, Delta/ Richmond office, is recruiting for a Bilingual Sales Representative for our client company based out of Delta, BC. English communication to client companies and Mandarin communication to head office. Our client is one of the well-established leaders in their specialty of the building materials industry. If you have any type of customer service, inside or outside sales experience related to construction, building materials or industrial product, we definitely want to hear from you! The company is adding a new person to their 5 to 6 person sales team as they are expanding their markets.

Responsibilities:
Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business needs
Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to local or head office
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
Tracking within computer system or CRM/ make daily or weekly reports

Requirements:
2+ years’ experience working in a customer service, inside sales, outside sales or business development role
Previous role in a leadership or ability to organize-coordinate/ prioritize is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills
May eventually need to travel in order to see clients, explore new markets and attend conventions
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin is a strong asset to be able to communicate with head office
Strong leadership skills
Fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong drive/ keen to learn
Ability to cultivate and maintain a relationship with prospects and clients

Monday to Friday, office hours with some flexibility to work at office and from home. Occasional before or after hours if necessary to connect with clients according to clients hours.

Initial training pay is $3000-4000/ month. After probation, same draw against commission. For their average sales representative, their income is $100,000/ year.

2) Job title: Sales Specialist - Meat

Job Description:
• Develop beef sales channels for Asian markets in both domestic and exportation • Ensure revenue targets and growth objectives to be achieved • Continually gather market data and demands, promote the company’s beef brands by all means of traditional and social media channels • Maintain trustful relationships with clients and new customers in a professional and polite manner, ensure a high level of satisfaction by all business partners • Participate in food fairs, both for international and domestics markets •

Responsible for sales reports, data collection and analysis • Responsible for payment collection • Constantly visit clients, listen to clients’ feedback and expectations, work closely with the production and operation team to provide the highest service level to exceed clients’ requirements • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business or food science • Excellent communication skills both in oral and written English, bilingual (English and Mandarin) is highly appreciated • 2 years of experience in food marketing and sales • Knowledge and proficiency of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Google Apps (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive) • Strong ability to prioritize multi-tasks and meet competing deadlines • Experience in networking with business partners, agents, and food associates • Basic knowledge and experience in market research and data analysis • Excellent abilities in providing customer services • Availability for frequent travelling

Wage: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $45,000-60,000/ year plus commission
