Evercreek Investment Group Ltd, which located at Burnaby, BC, is a Camp planning company for Chinese youth.  We are a start-up company which focus on marketing in China and organizing Chinese youth come here for summer camp and winter camp. We will host a variety of camp such as traditional summer camp, hockey camp, kayak camp, skiing camp etc.

We’re looking for a web developer to work from our Burnaby office- that will be responsible for evercreek front-end web development, as well as back-end web development, must understanding of Wordpress and the ability to create custom themes and plugins would be a plus.

Must fluent in Mandarin.

We are not looking to hire contractors or people that work remotely.

Terms of employment: Permanent (Full time )
Start date:  As soon as possible

The position starts with a probationary 3-month period with a performance review conducted at the end to discuss options.

Job Description

• Work in HTML/CSS (bootstrap) with some PHP
• Work with WordPressorWix
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Work with web developers and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives
• Work with team members to resolve technical issues
• English&Mandarin speaking and writing

Skills and Experience

• Good Knowledge of HTML/CSS/WordPress/Wix
• Good Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CC
• Knowledge of PHP and Javascript
• Experience using MAC OSX platform
• Exceptionally organized with great attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Willing to accept and provide direction
• Committed self-starter, self-responsible, independent worker
• Strong time management skills
• Positive attitude and an ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
• Must fluent in Mandarin.

The office hours will be Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, however, some after hour work may be required.

Salary: $25,000.00 to $30,000.00 /year
