mazdaspeed 3 is faster than 350z/g37 ? 

is that true? 0-100 only 5.5 second?

lol have chance...itz got 260ps i think....turbo...compare with a NA VQ35 first gen. with 279ps..should with a G35...but not g37...for 350z..can have chnace on 03-05 model...but not 06 up.....LOL

probably not... it will have torque steer like crazy...and hp numbers are misleadin for this car... cuz when it all comes down to actualy performance, the transmission really lets it down...i am not sure abt the current gen MS3, but the last gen...like the 07 model with 263bhp @ 5500 rpm with 280ft.lb @ 3000 rpm...on a 3135LB "dry weight" chassis.... see the number do tell a good story... so far.. but when acceleration test are done this is what the real world results... 0-60mph 6.0sec 0-100mph 14.5mph while a 2005 nissan 350Z cherryion mentioned is ... 300bhp @  6400rpm with 260 lb.ft @ 4800rpm ... on a 3370lb chassis (dry weight also) and... the real world result are.... 0-60mph 5.6sec 0-100mph 13.7sec so... my opinion on this is yes.... its close enough that on a city light to city light occassion, you might just edge out the 05' 350Z if the owner didnt floor it from the get go..and might went for the auto-slush box but to be really honest...i think saying MS3 takin on a fairlady is a bit of a far cry... a MS3 is more like competition for... mini cooper S and Golf GTI both losing more than 60hp to the MS3 (only 172bhp on mini's case..which is almost a 100bhp deficit) it still manages to pull Cooper S 0-60mph 6.2sec Golf GTI   0-60mph 6.3sec so.. my understanding is.. the Turbo-4 in the MS3 is good..but chassis/tires/transmission realli lets it down, it should post better numbers =P my 0.02 and LZ/OP, if you just want a cheaper car that will embrasses most cars in city driving... WRX is the way to go... it will destroy..and i do mean destroy almost any "entry-luxo" sports car within city speeds... (ie.. the first 2 gears of WRX)

其实turbo lag每个turbo车都有...差别就是turbo lag的大小..据我所知...譬如说335i的twin turbo吧..现在改进了以后是1500rpm turbo take in...但是有人就发现了在2nd gear(manual 模式)的时候2000转 full  gas 有turbo lag...就是full padel的时候转速跟不上..或者可以说是踩油门跟速度不成比例..turbo take in过慢...turbo越大...lag越大(在同样排量的车上)....本来带turbo的车lag会小..后加的一般比较大..所以原厂都设计成大排量大turbo,,,小排量小turbo...不知道这对不对..大家如果有异议..一起讨论~~学习中~~[s:199]

快慢不能只看直线加速，操控很重要，这方面MINI跟GTI应该比MS3好。

貌似后驱车动力损耗比较大，turbo 2档起roll 比较占优貌似。当然还是要看谁开， 路上彪因为差个一个半个车身还是挺正常的。是不是这样？

不管怎么说, speed 3 性价比还是高啊
