I\'ll try to make this as short as possible, Last year I went to China and I spoke to this incredibly pretty chinese girl that was from Vancouver but was born in China. I spoke to her for about 15 minutes on a public bus after she asked me where I was from. (I\'m from Australia btw) There was definitely a click and about halfway through our conversation I thought about asking her for her contact number. Unfortunately, my thoughts were - \'wait, I don\'t know anything about picking up people, does she really like me?\', \'my phone is off in my bag.... with no reception\',\' the phone numbers might be weird cause, shes from a different country and all... :S\' . So in the end I got off the bus without any contact details, and ever since then I haven\'t been able to get over her smile, her prettiness... her personality and just being near her in general. She was REALLY pretty, she had these really big gleaming eyes and a cute smile as she stroked her hair... and this pure white skin, I just wanted to hug her all day. How stupid am I right, oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I\'m Australian born chinese. So that the fact that she could speak GOOD english was just one of the many more things that added to her amazing aura. (I can only understand a little bit of mandarin). Since then, I\'ve been more and more interested in my chinese culture, I\'ve even started learning more of the language. Also my new boss is from Shanghai, and he loves to talk to me about where hes from and all that... and how I\'m lucky I am because I\'m chinese growing up in a wealthy country etc, etc... So I\'ve come to believe that maybe I met her for a reason (lol), so that I can get more involved with my culture. What do I do? Do I wait for her to maybe come here? Although I can\'t remember If I told her I was from Sydney, all I remember is saying Australia. I would go to Vancouver right now if I had nothing else to do, but I\'m studying at uni and its for another 3 years. When I got off the bus (this may sound weird) I did feel this small feeling in my stomach as though I knew I would see her again (almost like a reassuring feeling) for some reason...... The only information about her that I have is, her name is Katherine (or Kathy/Cathy), she\'s 24, can speak cantonese, mandarin and english. I think she said she moved to Shangahi when she was younger and then to Vancouver later. A friend directed me to this website, hopefully she will see this!
