演员,企业中的癌细胞

Actors, cancer cells in the enterprise

 

被毒蛇咬了一口相比,一个人得癌症死亡是一个缓慢的过程。癌细胞增长迅速,发育成肿瘤,若不及时治疗,边要扩散的全身,人就要死了。以此比喻,一个企业里要是癌细胞开始迅速发育,若不及时治疗,企业也离破产倒闭不远了。

演员,是企业里的一种癌细胞。

一个雇员在企业里工作,出卖时间、体力、技术或技能来换取工资报酬。从人的经济学本性来讲,在报酬不变的情况下付出的越少,相对回报就越多。而演员是这样一种雇员,他们通过表演来掩盖其相对较少、很少、乃至为零的付出,来达到报酬最大化的目的。之所以称其为演员,是因为其行为是伪装的、虚假的。他们不懂装懂、装做很重要、装做很忙、装做很高深、装做很团队合作、装做很。。。。。。总之,他上班就是在表演,故称之为演员,而公司里的大小会议乃至下班小聚就是其表演的舞台,或只有一个观众如有必要也会表演。演员可以是公司里任何一个人,可以是CEO,也可以是工程师、销售人员、行政人员,等等。

An employee in an organization sells his/her time, physical, technical or skills in exchange for wage payment. An actor can be any person in a company, can be the CEO, can also be an engineer, sales personnel, administrative staff, and so on.

 

在family business家庭事业里如果老板除非想自欺欺人一般是不会当为说的这种演员的,这种演员不是指痛哭流涕或大笑等表演。他们的表演手段如下:

  1. 彰显夸大自己的工作成功。即使他的工作成果和其他人一样多,他要让大家或他的老板知道他干了很多。这种人一般都很健谈很幽默。

  1. 巧妙的将其他人的工作成果算成自己的。最低级的做法是直接撒谎,高级的做法是通过复杂的汇报、评估、考核等等手段,让上级认为他干了很多或工作主要是他干的,而实际上默默工作的人干了大部分工作。

以上三条还是算是危害比较小的。因为路遥知马力,大家相处时间长了自然看得出谁干的多谁干的少。危害更大的是如下的高级演员(往往是地位较高的经理总监等等)手段:

2)抓毛病。这里不符合规定、那里不符合标准、这里对兄弟部门影响很大、那里需要重新评估做方案。这样就显得他很了不起。

4)搞似是而非的噱头。演员把这种工作吹得多么重要,然后花很多钱、很多人和很长时间来干这些无用的工作。比较有趣的例子是学习丰田精益生产方法。你看,谁敢说行业龙头的成功业绩是假的么?JIT,看板,持续改进,等等,在丰田都是很成功的实例呀。领导说好,我们干吧。于是请咨询公司来诊断做方案做培训、请大学教授来讲课,增加人手高薪聘请专家级经理和指导,雇佣咨询公司入厂常驻,改造车间,改造流程,等等,演员自己地位大幅上升工资大幅提高,几年搞下来工厂不但效率没提高质量反而不如从前了。演员有本事把惨败说成辉煌胜利跳槽到另一家公司继续当演员。

比如某国际知名汽车公司在破产前,各部门的考核都很是优秀优良,但最后公司破产了。他们搞生产质量,6西格玛、2毫米工程,理论高深到你读三个博士不一定弄得明白,公司里靠其吃饭的专家就好几百个。你随便请一个专家来讲讲,把你唬得一愣一愣的,结果做出来的产品品质是行业里数一数二烂的。这样的公司不破产真是没有天理了。

我们大家都讲究健康生活预防癌症,要保持健康生活的习惯,保持心情愉快,等等。企业也是如此,要抑制演员这种雇员在企业内部滋生繁衍,重要的是保持企业文化的健康、保持企业内部道德的纯洁性。让好细胞压制癌细胞,让好员工压制演员。讲求实事求是、踏实稳妥、鼓励实干苦干、压制花里胡哨和噱头。这一切都要从企业一把手做起。

We all pay attention to healthy living to prevent cancer, such as maintaining a healthy life habits, maintaining a good mood, and so on. For enterprises it should be so as well.
