Edo Japan (Pacific Centre) in Vancouver opened in May 2017 and continues to be actively engaged in offering fresh and delicious Japanese food made in the traditional Teppan style and served with our now famous signature Teriyaki sauce.

We are looking for an experienced full-time permanent store manager to oversee daily restaurant operations. The right candidate must be a team player and lead the team by example.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills, staff development and management experience, motivational and people skills
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and on public holidays
• 3+ years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
• Experience in analyzing financial data
• Valid Drivers License and ability to travel
• Food Safe Level 1

Job Duties:

• Manage and co-ordinate activities of restaurant staffs
• Determine and execute operating improvements
• Recruit and oversee staff training
• Manage staff work schedules, monitor and evaluate staff performance
• Control inventory and monitor quality of deliveries
• Monitor revenue and control operational costs
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Arrange for maintenance and repairs of equipment and services
