BECA TAX is a licensed CPA firm with the main office located in Richmond.

We are currently hiring a full-time Staff accountant to join our growing team. Our business is growing and we are seeking motivated professionals to join our team on a full-time basis and grow with us. The candidate must have at least 2 years of Canadian public practice experience. You must be able to deal with clients independently.

You must be able to handle full-cycle accounting using Sage 50 or QuickBooks, have working knowledge of Taxprep for T1/T2 returns and Caseware for year-end work. You are a great communicator that is fluent in both English and Chinese and be able to communicate effectively with government agencies and small business owners. The right candidates will have a can-do attitude and are able to prioritize and manage their time well. There will be a lot of opportunities to grow with the firm.

Description of Duties: Providing month-end reconciliation and filing with the government; Prepare personal income tax return and corporate tax return; Assist clients with filing tax remittances & payroll source deductions; Assist with communicating with CRA on behalf of clients; Prepare year-end working paper files and related financial statements; Other management consulting projects as required; Required qualifications: Minimum 2 years of public practice experience Working knowledge towards Caseware, TaxPrep, Sage50, QBO, Microsoft office suite. Currently enrolled in the CPA program or graduated from an Accounting diploma or degree.
