We are looking for a full-time, permanent, experienced Bookkeeper to fill a vital role within our office. With excellent communication and time management skills, the Bookkeeper will provide support to the Managment team and Accounting Department.
Responsibilities Include: Accounts payable – entering supplier invoices in timely matter, issuing supplier payments; Accounts receivable – issuing invoices and applying payments;AR Collections;Assisting in preparing GST & PST returns;Assisting with month-end and quarter end journal entries; Bank reconciliation; Preparing and maintaining various reports including financial statements, credit card transaction reports, excel summary reports, etc.Assist with year-end auditing Data entry and other general accounting and administrative duties as assigned. WHAT YOU WILL BRING:Ideally you possess an accounting background, education or combination of both; 2-5 years relevant experience in full cycle accounting;Intermediate Excel skills; Excellent verbal, written and listening skills; Consistently maintain a high degree of accuracy;Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required; Good organizational, time management with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing and high volume environment;Accountable and dependable; Ability to contribute positively to the team environment as well as work independently; Experience in ERP or Quickbook an asset.
