Aurora Scientific Corp., a business provider of PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) vacuum coating service and equipment, is looking for candidates to fill a full-time Account Manager position. The experienced and enthusiastic team player will join our expanding team to assist in serving customers with innovations. Candidate should also enjoy technical challenges, appreciate interacting with people and provide exceptional customer services, and communicate effectively with supporting engineering groups. Pay is negotiable based on experience and education.

 

Position:                   Account Manager

Term/Status:            Permanent/Full time

Salary:                      $39,520 - $50,000/yr. Based on experience plus commission

Closing Date:           When the position is filled

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The self-motivated, energetic, well-organized, and responsible candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties but is not limited to the following:

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customers
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships on behalf of the Company
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments of the Company in order to meet performance objectives, customers’ needs and create new opportunities
  • Perform timely and accurate pickup and delivery of customers’ goods in the area of BC and WA to meet customers’ needs and aims
  • Communicate and report clearly the progress of weekly initiatives to General Manager and Director through CRM system and weekly meetings
  • Produce monthly sales performance reports and track performance
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Assist in the attendance of the Company’s trade events and the promotion of the Company’s products and services
  • Assist in the development and execution of the marketing strategy
  • Other sales related duties assigned by General Manager

 

Requirements:

  • Analytical skills to review client data
  • Customer service experience to handle clients and customers from different industries and backgrounds
  • Problem-solving abilities to help meet customer challenges
  • Organizational ability and attention to details to manage multiple accounts at one time
  • Time management and multitasking skills to transition among client accounts easily
  • Negotiation skills for creating and setting sales orders
  • Knowledge of the most common and most recent industry best practices
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • A post-secondary graduate
  • Possession of Class 5 driver license and Canadian Passport
  • Exceptional writing, phone and presentation skills in English
