Bookkeeper wanted

We are looking for a Bookkeeper who will have the primary responsibility of maintaining the company’s books of account with an emphasis on accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll duties.

Main duties:

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable in both QuickBooks and Excel
• Process payroll on a semi-monthly basis and remit payroll deduction to CRA
• Reconcile bank statements of all bank accounts in a timely manner
• Prepare PST, GST and QST returns
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Assist external accountant with YE preparation
• Other duties as assigned

Employment requirements:

• Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or Completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting) or Courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerks are required.
• Related bookkeeping and administrative work experience would be an asset
• Proficient in English
