We are a company with two separate practices– one practice is focusing on accounting and income tax services and the other practice is focusing on bookkeeping and payroll services. We will be working in a cloud environment.

A JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT is wanted for an entry to intermediate level position at our company. If you are a recent accounting graduate with no related work experience, we are willing to help you train, learn and develop if you possess all the right qualities and soft skills.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
• Some knowledge with Intuit Quickbooks either the desktop version or the online version
• Ability to multitask and manage many different things at once
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to deal with pressure and stay focussed when the deadline is just around the corner
• Ability to work independently
• Critical thinking (we love people asking great questions!!) 
• A savvy person with technology
• Great communication skills both verbal and written
• Communicational mandarin is an asset
• Knowledge with MS Excel and Word

Job Duties include but not limited to
• Bookkeeping for multiple clients in different industries
• Full cycle accounting and payroll services
• You will have some exposure to both of our practices, including corporate yearend, preparation of financial statements and income tax consulting services 
• Other requested administrative tasks as required

Qualifications
• Having an accounting degree or diploma
• Desire to learn and improve every day
• Desire to become a designated CPA yourself
• Preferably possessing some related work experience with Intuit Quickbooks either the desktop version or the online version
• Having lots of passion about accounting/bookkeeping and seeking a career in the accounting industry

This position is great opportunity for you to get some firsthand accounting related work experience. You have an exposure in many different types of accounting and tax engagements.
Salary is based on the right candidate’s experience and knowledge.
