Language Institute hires a part-timeadministrative assistant:

Job Description:

Helping students by identifying theirpotential to meet their individual college targets. The Education advisor is responsiblefor responding to inquires from students, providing counseling to helpindividuals clarify their pathways and to construct a detailed academic plans,matching individuals to colleges and majors, monitoring academic progress andcollege application progress. The primary function of this position is tomaximize each opportunity to market programs and to meet or exceed theenrolment targets for the college. This position will provide motivation tostudents to ensure their success in the program and also performs relatedadministrative and reporting duties.

 

Qualifications:

Individuals must be committed indeveloping, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

-         Excellent oral communicationskills

-         Excellent sales and marketingskills based on integrity and professionalism

-         Excellent in administrative andanalyze skills.

-         Able to develop detailed academicplans according the student’s situation

-         Excellent organizational skillswith ability to multi-task

-         Ability to work independently

-         Good judgment and ability to alwaysexhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.

-         Mandarin and English Fluentlyis a must

 

Specific Responsibilities:

-         Interviewing potential studentsand explore their background, interests and identify their individual collegeor career goal;

-         Provide ongoing coaching andmotivation to students to support their success;

-         Tracking and reporting student’sschool activities(leads, appointments, interview etc)

-         Participating in training ofnew advisors

-         Other duties as assigned tosupport the objectives and purpose of the program.

 

Education and experience:

-         Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

-         Individual who complete highschool throughout Masters in Canada is preferred

-         Two or more years of college oreducation advising experience is preferred

1. 加拿大本科在校生及以上毕业生优先；
2. 熟悉该科目课程，具备相应科目备课水平及教材把控；
3. 有一年或以上相关考试或辅导经验者优先；
4. 具备良好的沟通表达能力，可以将知识点清晰直接的传授给学生；
5. 对学生有耐心，能够仔细的回答学生提出的相关问题；
6. 对工作有责任心，遵守公司的各项具体规章制度；
7. 有能力活跃课堂气氛，及时给学生寄予鼓励，让学生在轻松愉快的状态下学习；
8.工作时间灵活，可以平日和周末工作者优先。
