Role Summary:

The Mortgage Associate will work alongside a Senior Mortgage Broker to gain experience. The selected candidate will be provided with support and training to help them flourish throughout their career as a Mortgage Broker with Blue Pearl Mortgage Group.

Duties and Responsibilities

•          Remaining professional when dealing with clients and co-workers
•          Making certain amount of outbound calls to potential clients
•          Identify the Mortgage options that are available to clients
•          Understanding changes in Mortgage options
•          Providing transparent advice to clients
•          Engaging clients to discover their needs
•          Ensuring clients inquiries are dealt with in timely manner
•          Creating unique options to clients based on their needs

Qualifications and Skills

•          Ability to speak English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese
•          Willing to obtain Mortgage Broker license through Sauder School of Business
•          Outbound call experience is an asset
•          Sales experience
•          Excellent interpersonal skills
•          Comfortable working in a sales driven environment
•          Strong attention to detail
•          Ability to understand and maintain knowledge of mortgage options
•          Ability to work with minimal supervision

Compensation

This position starts with an hourly wage of $13 plus commission.
