Finally pulled the trigger and upgraded from a Fluval Flex 15 gallon to the Mega Flex 32.5 gallon. This tank is amazing. I really like how everything is tidily hidden behind the wall. There is also room to add accessories like a heater, etc. which I did. When researching, I read reports that the pump is loud because of this. The pump that came with mine is very quiet, so I was happy that this wasn’t a problem.
It comes with the Bluetooth enabled Aquasky light which is usually about $140 on its own so when you think of it in those terms the tank is fairly well priced- especially on sale. The Aquasky is bright and allows you to set a sun up to sun down schedule for your tank or you can just turn it on or off manually. Lots of different lighting options as well.
Tank is well made and so is the lid. It has a feeding port to feed fish or add an auto feeder. I like the fact that you can close the port which is an upgrade from the Flex 15 which is a wide open hole. It also has a port at the back to allow you to access your pump, heater, filter, etc. without removing the tank lid. The only complaint I have about the lid is that I wish it had a feeding port of the opposite side as well so I could add a bit of food to each side. Also, it would be nice if Fluval would include some lid stands or sell them as an accessory you could use to keep the lid raised when cleaning, etc. I’ve seen them for sale online by third parties, but including them would be a nice addition.
If you are on the fence on this tank I say go for it. I have no regrets as it is an excellent tank and my fish are very happy!

I love this tank! It’s great for a living room. Anywhere really. The stand is really nice too. Can’t complain, this is the best price available as I’ve seen this tank for over five hundred at many aquatic stores. I’m very happy.

I bought this tank because I have the 15 gallon version and loved it. This tank was exactly as expected, more to love!

The filter is inside the tank = less tank area
It has a BIG filter area which you can DIY and play around with filter built for a starter. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE PARTS you will not be able to buy another sponge unless u go out and buy a big thick sponge and cut it yourself they do not sell the built-in sponge I even try looking around my area. This means if you lose it or throw it away there won't be another part. My worry is the wear and tear. i would have no more sponge T-T but overall i like this tank its a very good beginner tank. Very fun to play with.

Looks great and the Bluetooth lighting is fun to play around with. The back compartment hides all the filters and wires. The only complaint that I have is that the filter makes a slight buzzing sound

The only nice thing about this tank is the curved design is nice to look at.
The filter it comes with is trash, replaced it almost immediately with a canister filter - which doesn’t fit properly in the hood - so it’s always off center.
Hood has no hinges , so you need to hold it up with one hand while doing maintenance as the light is attached to it.
Since not using the filter it came with - the back compartment becomes wasted space & a place for debris to settle. Due to this back compartment (that you cannot remove) , water flow is restricted & you must do more maintenance to keep this tank clean.
1/10 would not recommend. The light is the only benefit to buying this tank if you are interested in love plants.

Lights

We love this fish tank. Mainly because it comes with its own filter and the lights are controlled by your phone and it has a night time setting where it will slowly get dark for night and then you can also have a “storm” with the lights like lightening.
