Wholesale distributor is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified person with the skills, knowledge and experience to take charge of maintaining the Books and be responsible for the daily operation of the office.
The successful candidate should have the skills and ability to handle the following:
- Knowledge of simply accounting or quick book
- Filing of various returns such as: PST, Payroll, GST
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to draft letters and contracts
- Strong Customer Service skills, both in person, via telephone and email.
- Excellent administrative and bookkeeping skills; self-discipline and ability to work independently; highly developed organizational skills, good judgment, and sound initiative; ability to problem solve responsibly and multi-task effectively; and excellent time management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (strong command of English)
- Excellent team player
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping including receivables, payables and payroll, monthly bank reconciliations, government remittances, inventory tracking etc. Working with accountants at year-end to produce annual financial statements.
- General office administration including preparation of correspondence and reports, online and paper filing and mail.
- Responding to inquiries from customers & suppliers providing a high level of customer service.
- Booking truck to ship out the products to customers.
- Sort and file documents according to established filing systems, locate and retrieve documents from files as requested, and maintain records of filed and removed materials.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and order supplies as required.
- Receive account payments.
- Create quotes, invoices, and bank deposits.
- Answer incoming calls and direct as necessary.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
