Our boutique in downtown Vancouver hosts a range of jewellery and accessories, hand-crafted in Vienna. We are a small, tight-knit group, who are passionate about art, luxury, fashion, and customer service. We would love to add someone with our same enthusiasm and drive about what we do to our team as soon as possible.

For the boutique in Vancouver, Canada FREYWILLE is now accepting applications for:

ASSISTANT MANAGER (full-time)

Starting rate of $19/h

Wage increase, commission, and extended healthcare benefits available after successful completion of probationary training period.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering a high level of customer care to clients
• Meeting daily and monthly sales targets
• Developing and maintaining client data base
• Reporting to Boutique Manager and Country Manager
• Effectively communicating with departments at Head Office
• Merchandising boutique displays and providing feedback to the VMD team
• Maintaining merchandise and supplies stock levels
• Text proofing and (when necessary) adaptation of company documents
• Generating and analyzing sales reports and statistics
• Passionate about art and the jewellery industries
• Product and sales training for colleagues
• Importing and exporting merchandise for repair, exchange, or orders
• Coordination for cleaning, repair, maintenance work for the boutique and its equipment

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
• Polished appearance to represent a luxury brand
• Previous retail experience in luxury or premium retail
• Permit to work in Canada
• Fluent in English
• Available regularly 5 days per week

Additional assets:

• Proficiency in Mandarin speaking and writing is a plus
• Interest in art, culture, and history
• University or college degree in art, business, marketing, or related field
• Technologically savvy
