Job Title: Import Sales Representative (Chinese Speaking)

Employer: An International food import/export company
Location: Downtown Vancouver, BC
Job Type: Permanent Full-time

Work hours:  Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Business Trip: one week to outside of Canada (yearly), a few days to domestic trips (half-yearly)
Compensations: $40,000-$45,000/year plus bonus, benefits (group insurance), car allowance

Main Job Duties

- Establish new accounts in Greater Vancouver areas by planning and organizing daily schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call report, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.

- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems.

-Monitor competitions by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and new products, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

- Fluency in both English and Chinese (Verbal/ Written)

- Fluency in both Mandarin and Cantonese an asset

- At least 3 years of sales experience a must
- Eager to establish and grow business relationships with excellent presentation and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Highly self-motivated with strong work ethics
- Computer Skills: MS-Office (proficient in Excel and Word)
- Must have a valid BC driver's license (Class 5) and own vehicle

- Must have a satisfactory driving record
- Completion of post-secondary education
- A Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident in Canada
