ECE Teacher (or ECE Assistant)

Westwood Park Daycare is looking for a committed (F/T or P/T) ECE Teacher !! 

Our Location: Near Coquitlam Center, Westwood Elementary, Port Coquitlam


* Qualifications and requirements:

ECE Licence or ECE Assistant Certificate 

Current First Aid Certificate

Criminal Record Check

Proof of Medical Fitness to work with children

Immunization records

Reference letter

Patient for working with children

Good leadership and organizational skills

Have the ability and experience to manage a classroom of young children, infants and toddlers.

Hard working

Be able to co-operate with others

Good communication skills with parents and the other staff members


* Job description: 

Plan and develop ECE school programs

Maintain daily open communication with parents

Be responsible for a variety of duties that include caring for the young children

Prepare progress reports and discuss the progress reports with parents and other staff members

Encourage and support each child

Help all parents participate in their child's study

Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities

Provide opportunity for creative expression through the activities

Attend and contribute to all staff meetings
